At the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, we are passionate about the importance of understanding science and appreciating our interconnectedness with nature. Through the transformation of our campus, galleries, and visitor experience, we’re remaking the Museum as a one-of-a-kind resource that will inspire this passion in our community.

Complementing our physical transformation is a revised approach to the way we engage our audiences. Updates to the Museum’s educational facilities will enable us to fully leverage the talents of our educators, while the integration of classroom learning with our new gallery experience will greatly enhance Museum programming.
These changes are made possible by vital support from our donors and community partners. A recent gift from the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Foundation is not only providing funding for a new education space, but also supporting one of the Museum’s key strategic priorities: expanding our accessibility, service, and impact in Northeast Ohio. We’ve taken a significant first step toward achieving this goal by welcoming the Museum’s closest neighbors through our doors.
As we complete the design-development phase of our transformation project and enter the construction phase, the generosity of our Board of Directors is advancing our fundraising efforts. Now we are calling on members of our community to join us in investing in our campaign. With the support of everyone who values this institution, we will bring a truly world-class natural history museum to Cleveland.

As we reimagine the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, we are building an interdisciplinary team of scientists whose research will be fully integrated with our new exhibits and educational programs.
